A former farmhouse with a garden, converted into a lovely holiday house

This holiday property is concealed in greenery, in rural surroundings by the de Regge river. It is the front house of a monumental farmhouse from the year 1736, which was fully renovated in 2015 and fitted with modern amenities, whilst preserving the old details as far as possible.

Outside there is a big garden with a terrace, affording a good view over the meadows and Lemelerberg. A private path along the cow barn leads to the old lake and on to a lovely nature area. There is plenty of parking space on site, or you can use the lockable barn as a garage.

The 100m² of living space comprises a large living room, three bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. The interior exudes a warm and luxurious flair, so you will feel at home straight away. It is suitable for seven people, with the possibility of one additional guest on a supplementary bed 90 x 200cm. The hallway provides access to the living room with seating in front of the fireplace stove, as well a big dining table with chairs, an Internet-enabled TV. The kitchen includes a five-ring gas stove. The first bedroom is for two people, with bedside tables and lamps. The second bedroom has a single bed and a bunk bed for two people, while the third has two beds with bedside tables, lamps and a cupboard. All the beds measures 90 x 210cm (except the supplementary bed). The bathroom has a shower, a washbasin and a washing machine. The toilet is in a separate room next to the bathroom. The house has underfloor heating.

It is about 200 metres to a restaurant and there are several good restaurants in the area. This accommodation is at the de Regge river, between Hellendoorn and Lemele, with a view of the Lemerleberg, Eelderberg and Velderberg. You can use various cycling and walking routes near the house. The de Regge river offers various lovely places for fishing and canoeing. You can go on a trip with your children to the adventure park at Hellendoorn. The surrounding villages such as Den Ham, Ommen, Dalfsen are certainly worth a visit, as well as the beautiful Hanseatic town Deventer and Zwolle. You can go bowling or visit a pancake house about 4km away, or spend a day in a sauna or solarium about 10km away. Basically, if you are looking for peace and quiet, space, luxury and comfort in lovely green surroundings, then this is the right place for you and the owner will be happy to welcome you.

A child’s bed (60 x 120cm) and a highchair are available free of charge. There is also a tumble dryer in the barn on site, close to the holiday house. It also has a grill and you could store bicycles or other items here and lock them away. Two ladies’ bicycles are available to borrow on request and the owner can also arrange e-bikes or children’s bikes on request. You can order bread rolls from a baker, either before arrival or during your stay.

    “Ferienwohnung ist sehr schön gestaltet, fast alles was man braucht war da. Über die Lautstärke wurde sich auch nicht beschwert und die Vermieter waren zuvorkommend. Wenn man etwas erleben möchte ist man allgemein in Hellendoorn falsch, aber wer nur zum entspannen da ist, ist in dieser Ferienwohnung genau richtig. Gerne wieder.”

    “Sehr stilvoll und reichhaltig ausstattete Ferienwohnung auf dem Bauernhof mit Kühen, Hühnern und einem Pferd. Für unsere kleinen Kinder war es ein sehr aufregender Aufenthalt in der Nähe des Naturgebiets. Wir haben nichts zu meckern!”

    “Een erg gezellige en ruime luxe vakantiewoning, waar echt tot in detail aan alles is gedacht, met een warm en sfeervol onthaal. In het vakantiehuis is alles aanwezig en je hoeft bijna niets mee te brengen (zelfs alle huishoud-/schoonmaakspullen). Kortom je voelt je er meteen thuis!”

    “Die Wohnung ist wunderschön und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Sie liegt mitten auf dem Land (gehört zu einem Bauernhof) direkt an eine Auenlandschaft angrenzend, wo man sehr schön spazieren gehen kann. Fahrrad fahren bietet sich ebenfalls an, da die Fahrradwege toll ausgebaut sind und die Landschaft ringsum sehr schön ist. Die Wohnung selbst ist hervorragend ausgestattet (vor allem auch die Küche, was uns sehr gefreut hat). Der Preis ist für das was geboten wird wirklich mehr als angemessen.”
