The well-tended garden has also remained, along with the generous terrace and the extensive site. The accommodation provides 70m² of living space, comprising a double bedroom, a large living room, a separate kitchen with a dining space, and a daylight bathroom. The centrepiece of the apartment is the stately living room with light laminate flooring and a wonderful fireplace stove, providing warmth and cosiness on col autumn and spring days and of course in winter. The house also has central heating. After a day trip, you can relax on the corner sofa, with the large flatscreen TV, a Blu-ray player, a small selection of films and a stereo system providing entertainment. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed (180 x 200cm) and plenty of storage space with a cupboard and dresser. The pine design is in harmony with the ambience of the holiday house. Here there is also modern and light laminate flooring. There is another fireplace stove in the kitchen. You can come in after a walk in the cool spring or on a golden autumn day, enjoy hot soup and the fire in the fireplace – a perfect welcome in your home away from home. The tiled kitchen enables comprehensive self-catering with a four-zone ceramic hob with an oven, a fridge-freezer, a dishwasher, a modern pads coffee machine, a kettle and a toaster. In the generous bathroom you can choose between a modern shower cubicle and a bath. This room was recently modernised and is decorated with light tiles. There is also a hairdryer. WLAN is included.
In summer, the generous terrace (ca. 4 x 5m) invites you outdoors for breakfast with the twittering of birds or a pleasant end to the day by the charcoal grill, with an extensive view over the kilometres of meadow landscape and high trees. The semi-detached house has its own garden of around 100m². There is plenty of space on site for your car.
The friendly owners can offer additional services. Your well-behaved dog is welcome at no additional charge.
There are a range shopping facilities in Ratzeburg 11km away (all major discounters, a large Edeka market, various bakeries and butchers, a fashion market, a potter for great souvenirs etc). It is only about 1km along an absolutely quiet field track to the lake Dutzower See, which is linked to Schaalsee. A little further on there is a beach for swimming. There are many lakes with natural beaches. At Ratzeburger See, you can go on a boat trip or take out a pedalo, and the many quiet paths invite you to go cycling, hiking or Nordic walking. The landscape has rolling hills, with few steep ascents. You can go swimming at the indoor pool in Ratzeburg or the large Wonnemar leisure pool in Wismar (52km). You can go on a draisine ride in Schmilau (12km), or visit the monastery and church in Zarrentin (18km), while the Grenzhus in Schalgsdorf (15km) shows the history of the region with the almost impassable GDR border.
