Holiday apartment for max. 1 adult + 11 children
Celina, Croatian Adriatic Coast, (Makarska Riviera), Croatia
Inviting holiday apartment with a balcony and a lateral sea view
This holiday apartment is on the fourth floor of an apartment building on a quiet residential estate. The town Omiš is in the south of Croatia where the Cetina River flows into the Adriatic Sea and belongs to Dalmatia. The town that today lives mainly off tourism has about 6000 inhabitants. The next largest town is Split, 25km to the west.
The inviting apartment of around 85m² has an open living and dining room with a built-in kitchen, equipped with an oven, a fridge with a freezer compartment, an electric and gas stove, and a kettle. There is a dining table with four chairs for meals together. The adjoining living room provides a sofa bed (160cm wide) for two people, a coffee table and satellite TV. The two bathrooms are each fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. Stairs lead up to the three bedrooms, partly on a gallery. Two bedrooms are furnished with a kingsize double bed (160cm wide), the third with two single beds (90cm wide). There is air conditioning (warm/cool) in the living room. All rooms have free wireless Internet reception. There is a washing machine in the bathroom for use free of charge.
The living room opens onto the furnished balcony with a lateral sea view. Enjoy the beautiful sunset over the horizon of the sea with a glass of wine. Right in front of the accommodation there are public parking spaces for use free of charge. Pets are not allowed.
A special geographical feature of the little town is the Cetina river estuary into the Adriatic. It separates the old town from the new town. The two parts are connected by a bridge over the estuary.
The old Croatian church Sveta Petar (St. Peter) on the opposite shore of the Cetina River is of cultural significance. The single-nave domed building from the 10th century is among the most valuable architecture monuments in Dalmatia from that era. At the gateway to the town lies the area of the former Poljica Republic. Above the town there are the ancient remains of the Starigrad (15th century) and Mirabella (13th century) fortifications. It is a five-minute walk to a supermarket, a fish market, a butcher, a café, a restaurant, a petrol station and a fruit and vegetable market. In Omiš you can enjoy the following sports activities: rafting, tennis, football, diving, climbing and water sports by the beach such as waterskiing or jet-ski. It is recommended to go on day trips to the island Brac or trips to Split, Makarska, Medjugorje, Krka and Dubrovnik.
