This cosy holiday home is set right by the lake Havravikssjön in Eksjö, Småland. It has a private bathing dock and a boat is included.

The holiday home consists of a main cottage and an annex. The main cottage has a kitchen with the basic kitchen amenities. There's a cold water tap on the outside, by the kitchen. The living room features two single beds and the bedroom has a bunk bed. The cottage has a spacious, roofed terrace with a panoramic view of the lakeside.

The modern annex features a fully tiled bathroom, a wood-fuelled sauna with a view over the lake, a kitchen work top with a sink, a dishwasher, and a washing machine.

The picturesque town of Eksjö has some of Sweden's most well-preserved old wooden houses. Eksjö is about 10 kilometres from your cottage. The tourist office arranges guided walks in the town, in the summertime. The town has several great restaurants and cafés. Don't miss taking a look at Skurugata, a 25 kilometre mountain rift that has been called one of Sweden's most interesting natural phenonema. The elk park in Skullaryd is only 20 kilometres from your holiday home,

The charming town of Vimmerby is within driving distance. This area is the setting of many of Astrid Lindgren's beloved children's books such as Emil of Lönneberga. The children will really enjoy Astrid Lindgren's World. Katthult and Bullerbyn are also close. Or why not take a daytrip to Mariannelund and find out how sweets were made in the olden days?

    “Wunderbare und ruhige Lage am See, jeden Tag die nahegelegene spektakuläre Natur erkunden oder mit dem vorhandenem Boot rudern, angeln (Angellizens unkompliziert vom humorvollen und sehr freundlichen Vermieter bekommen), grillen auf dem großen Grill, auf der Veranda mit Seeblick essen und den Abend in der Sauna ausklingen lassen. - Skurugata (beliebig ausdehnbar durch den ebenso empfehlenswerten Höglandsleden) / - Astrid Lindgrens Näs (die zubuchbare Führung durch das Geburtshaus lohnt sich noch mehr als die eigentliche Ausstellung) / - Katthult / - ganz in der Nähe gibt es einen Kanuverleih, man kann diverse Touren von beliebiger Länge planen, von wenigen Stunden bis zu mehreren Tagen / - Stadtkern von Eksjö.”

    “Das Haus selbst war recht einfach und die Möblierung eher spärlich aber der neue Badezimmer und Saunabereich war einfach klasse. Eksjö in nächster Nähe ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.”

    “Die Ausstattung ist einfach, aber alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden. In der Küche ist es etwas beengt und es könnten etwas mehr Teller da sein und Kleinigkeiten wie z.B. Käsehobel. Toll ist die Lage am See, der sehr sauber ist und schön zum Schwimmen oder Angeln. Das extra Häuschen mit Bad, Spüle, Waschmaschine, Spülmaschine und Sauna ist ziemlich neu und schön. Wir haben alles sauber und gepflegt vorgefunden. Es ist sehr schön ruhig hier, man kann gut entspannen. Die Stadt Eksjö in der Nähe hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen. Dort konnte man alles für den täglichen Bedarf kaufen. Wir hatten eine Karte für mobiles Internet gekauft und guten Empfang dort.”
