Welcome to this lovely holiday home set on a beautiful island in Roslagen, a part of the archipelago of Stockholm. There are no cars allowed on the island so peace and quiet is a guarantee!The cottage has a traditional, pretty exterior and a tastefully decorated interior. It has an open-plan kitchen and livingroom. The kitchen is equipped with the basic amenities and the living room features a cosy sofa, a wood-burning stove, a TV, and a DVD-player. The bathroom is on the bottom floor and I is equipped with a WC, a washbasin, a shower, and a washing machine.The house has three bedrooms; one with a double bed, one with a single bed, and one with a double bed and two single beds.The house is set on a big, beautiful forest plot of 4000 squa metres. It has a lovely terrace and a large barbecue grill. You can catch a boat to Stockholm, Vaxholm, and Sandhamn. The boats leave three times a day.Please note: There's no grocery shop on the island. The closest grocery shop is in Vaxholm, a 45-minute boat ride away. Vaxholm is a beautiful town with an old fortress, art exhibits, shops, and restaurants.Stockholm is well known for it's beauty and it's historical sites. Be sure to visit Drottningholms castle, the summer home of the royal family! It's is located next to the exotic castle Kina Slott and the delightful castle garden. In and around the city you will find plenty of things to do and see. Children will enjoy the amusement park Gröna Lund.Welcome to a great holiday home set in stunning surroundings!

    “Das Haus war gut ausgestattet und wir genossen den Aufenthalt sehr. Teils war das Geschirr schmutzig und Grill/Backofen nicht geputzt worden, so taten wir dies vorm ersten Gebrauch. Da das Haus in einer Waldlichtung gelegen ist, konnten wir abends die Rehe bis in den Garten beobachtne, was uns sehr beeindruckt hat. Das Ruderboot, das im Preis inbegriffen war, mussten wir noch beim Eigentümer verlangen und hatten nach einer Woche dann sogar ein Motorboot mit Ruder! Die Anlegestelle ist etwas entfernt vom Grundstück, was für uns im Voraus nicht so klar war. Da die Hauskoordinaten nicht stimmten, konnten wir auf GoogleEarth das Haus im Voraus nicht finden. Wir hätten uns gerne besser vorbereitet und informiert.”
