Bed and Breakfast in Nidastore with a shared citrus garden
The B&B is located in Nidastore, a picturesque locality in the Arcevia area, in the hills between Arezzo and the Adriatic coast.
The bed & breakfast consists of two buildings by the ancient walls of the little medieval locality. It is on the tip of a hill and enjoys a wonderful panoramic view of the valley. The first building, “Il Nido” (The Nest), is a historical, two-storey stone house. The second building “Limonaia” (Lemon Grove) consists of two guest rooms and is right nearby, on the opposite side of the little alley. It is above the town walls and was formerly used to cultivate citrus fruits.
In front of the “Lemon Grove” house there is a garden with citrus fruits, for shared use with guests at the guest rooms and holiday house. Each has a table and chairs for dining outdoors or simply relaxing. Cars can be parked on the public car park by the town wall about 20 meres away.
There is no Internet connection.
There is a local restaurant just 20 metres away. The nearest supermarket is about 3.5km away, in San Lorenzo in Campo. Other villages and towns nearby include Castellone di Suasa (4km) and Arcevia (17km). The Senigallia beaches are 34km away. The nearest train station is in Marotta (28km).
Holiday house “Il Nido”
This holiday house is an old building providing around 60m2 of living space, spread over two floors. It was completely renovated in 2010, paying attention to preserving the original structure. It is very comfortable and ideal for four people. The front door on the raised ground floor opens into the entrance area with a spacious living room-kitchen leading off it. The living room has a sofa bed for two people and a bookcase, as well as a central dining table with chairs. The well-equipped kitchen unit is equipped with a gas stove, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer, with water bottles for all guests. Next to it there is a service bathroom with a WC and washbasin. Stairs lead to the upper floor with the bedrooms: one with a double bed (180 x 190cm), a wardrobe and bedside tables, and one with a bunk bed (90 x 190cm). On this floor there is also a bathroom with a shower cubicle. The apartment has heating, so it is ideal for holiday stays all year round. The living room-kitchen is fitted with an air conditioning unit with a heating function. There is a TV with DVBT reception. In the basement there is a laundry room with a washing machine, which guests can use on request.
