Property no. 2086962
Holiday apartment for max. 4 persons
Salve, Salento, (Lecce Province), Italy
Casa Barzò
Detached villa with large outdoor area and 5,000 square meters of land in full ownership, near the beaches of Pescoluse and the Maldives of Salento, Casa Barzò is located just 2 km from the center of Salve with all services and 5 from the sea. You can relax in absolute quiet, if in season picking and tasting figs and prickly pears on the property, explore the surroundings: before reaching the sea you will encounter an infinity of restored trulli typical of Capo di Leuca - pajare and liame -, and you can be guided to the discovery of the ancient underground oil mills and the necropolis of the ancient Messapi.
Thanks to the mosaic that adorns it at the entrance, Casa Barzò pays homage to the famous house of Gaudì in its name. Composed of a bedroom with solid wood bed, bathroom with shower and worked stone floors, washing machine, air conditioning system, TV, kitchen with living room and sofa bed as well as a very spacious equipped outdoor area, it is new and equipped with all comforts.
It is embellished with quality windows with mosquito nets and a staircase to the roof overlooking the sea and is well finished with an outer coat and crawl space to make it fresh. The dry stone walls that surround the land, the typical pajara in front of the house and the blue night lights in the driveway make the atmosphere even more romantic and evocative. On the sides of the villa, of 46 square meters, there is a lovely Mediterranean garden with permaculture plants, in the rest of the property there are about thirty olive trees, figs and prickly pears. Linen and dishes are provided; the private parking is inside the house. Few rules: do not throw cigarettes, respect the house, nature and the atmosphere, feel good.
Exteriors and Flavors
The beautiful season lasts a long time in Salento; you can not only enjoy the garden from the outdoor area but also indulge in a refreshing outdoor shower or prepare a grilled fish, vegetable or meat in the special masonry space. A few minutes away are both the free beaches and the famous beaches of Pescoluse.
Away from home to eat fast you can take a rustic or, for breakfast, a typical pasticciotto accompanied by coffee with ice and almond milk. The menu of local land is very characteristic and includes cannulated sagne - a particular type of pasta with sauce -, turnip tops, peppers, stracciatella and burrata, pittule, frize, pucce, pieces of horse and in some cases gnommareddhri - lamb entrails or kid in gut -.
The perfect vacation to enjoy life.

Capo di Leuca: beaches and coves in a dream sea, Lecce history and baroque, festivals and Salento pizzica
Straddling two seas, the Ionian and the Adriatic, the Capo di Leuca area mainly offers beaches on the Ionian side and overhangs on the sea interspersed with splendid coves on the east side. In the middle is Leuca, famous for its Art Nouveau villas, for the lighthouse overlooking the meeting of the seas and for the sensational caves, ecstasy of seascapes and speleological varieties. Going up the Adriatic, Ponte Ciolo has 35 meters of jump and a breathtaking view of the sea, in a lunar context studded with natural stone. Salve has a beautiful baroque historic center and an old underground oil mill to visit, as well as one of the most complete Messapian necropolises. Patù has an equally suggestive square, Specchia is one of the most beautiful baroque gems in Italy. In summer, weather permitting, every evening is enriched with popular festivals, musical events, gastronomic events, offering you an infinite variety of seamless entertainment.
