The train station is within walking distance. From there you can reach the popular heath towns of Celle and Lüneburg and also the way to Hannover and Hamburg is not far.
Hiking and cycling trails for extensive commuter tours in the beautiful Lüßwald are just around the corner.
The nearby heath places Hermannsburg, Müden (Örtze) as well as the heath surfaces are to be reached in approx. 15 km distance by car, Heidebus or bicycle.
