The latter town is known for its medieval old town, in particular the monastery and abbey church of St. Birgitta and Vadstena Castle, which is surrounded by a moat by the lake. You can also visit the Berg locks and the Cloetta chocolate factory in Ljungsbro or the medieval cathedral in Linköping.
