Our house was built in 1671. The outer walls of the first floor are up to 70 cm thick and made of quarry stone. Above this is a rich baroque half-timbered structure made of oak. The ceiling height of the rooms is generous, even by today's standards. The house was completely renovated between 2012 and 2016. We attached great importance to high ecological standards and used the original building materials of wood, clay and lime. Space heating and hot water are generated with a wood pellet heating system. Two vacation apartments with a high level of comfort were created: the "Bergblick" apartment on the first floor with one bedroom (up to 2 people) and the "Moseltal" apartment on the upper floor with two bedrooms (up to 4 people). If more space is required, both apartments in the house can be rented as one large vacation home with a maximum of 6 beds (3 bedrooms). There are many hiking and cycling trails right next to the house. For your daily needs (groceries) you will find everything in the neighboring village of Treis-Karden - easy to reach by bike or car. The local bakery is only a few minutes' walk away. Enjoy round trips and day trips to Cochem & Koblenz during a boat trip on the Moselle, the jetty is located directly on the banks of the Moselle. Our house, lovingly furnished, awaits its guests.
