Das Haus befindet sich oberhalb von Brusio im kleinen Weiler Garbella 6 Häuser). Die sehr ruhige Lage am Südhang und die unverbaute Aussicht machen den Aufenthalt zu einem speziellen Ereignis mit sicherer Erholung. Geeignet für Kinder, vieles zum Entdecken draussen wie im Haus selber. Spezielle Architektur, im neunen Teil loftähnlicher Ausbau.
In weniger als 20 Min. sind der Hauptort Poschiavo oder über die Grenze das Städchen Tirano ins Veltlin erreichbar.
Garbella ist teilweise (auf Bestellung) auch mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln, Postauto erreichbar. Mit einem 25 min. Spaziergang erreicht man über einen Waldweg den Bahnhof von Miralago oder von Brusio(Kreisviadukt; UNESCO Welterbe).
Jeden Morgen fährt Hr. Rossi (Bäckerei Brusio) mit frischem Brot, Milch und … vorbei.
Das Haus grenzt an das unter Denkmalschutz gesetzte Steinhaus Zala
