Charming 18th century holiday house

The house is located at the historic town centre of Altafulla in the Tarragona Province, only 9 km from the capitol. It is a small town on the coast with most buildings dating back to the 18th century.

From the entrance, a staircase leads upstairs to the kitchen, the living room with a fireplace and patio access, a bedroom and a bathroom with a bathtub. The patio is furnished with a table and six chairs.

The house was built in 1761 and much of the original style and furnishings have been retained. A duplex on the ground floor can be rented. The entrance is on the ground floor and leads into the property which boasts a room with three single beds (2 x 90 cm x 180 cm and 1 x 80 cm x 180 cm), a bathroom with a shower, a room with a sofa bed for two and a living room with access to the patio and the veranda.

Altafulla Beach is easily accessible and has a beach walk and you can find Tamaril Castle at the southern end. 3 km to the north is Torredembarra with its yacht harbour. It is 5 minutes to the train station and 300 meters to the bus stop. The surrounding streets offer a supermarket and restaurants. Altafulla is well connected: Exit 32 from the AP7, trains and busses to Barcelona and Tarragona and 19 km to the Reus airport. The entire region offers many points of interest: the roman ruins in Tarragona, the monasteries in Poblet and Sates Creus, the natural reserve Delta del Ebro and the wine growing regions of Priorat, Montsant, Terra Alta... All easily visited within a day. The whole coastal area from the North to Vilanova und to the South to the Ebro Delta offers, besides extensive beaches, also some small bays. In the interior you will find mountainous landscapes as well as wine-growing areas called Montsant, Priorat and Terra Alta. Discover these magical places and enjoy the high-quality gastronomy.

The patio and the veranda are both furnished with outdoor furniture. You will find two bicycles and toys for the beach in the utility room. Internet access is available.

    “Zeer goede ligging in het oude stadsgedeelte in een autovrije straat . Op loopafstand van het strand. Alle mogelijke faciliteiten waren aanwezig. Zeer ruime woning! De eigenaar is steeds behulpzaam.”
