De huiseigenaar is heel vriendelijk en gastvrij. De locatie van de cottage (Luib) is centraal dus een prima plek om van daar uit amazing Skye te ontdekken. De plaats Broadford, die de dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt heeft, stelt niet veel voor. De supermarkt is prima. Portree is als plaatsje gezelliger. Een nadeel is dat er in en bij de cottage geen telefoon- en internetbereik is.
