In a commanding position overlooking fields, hills and oak woods, and set apart from a tiny hamlet of just three houses, this traditional, detached stone farmhouse with tall pigeonnier on three floors has been carefully and sensitively restored to provide a fully equipped, comfortable and stylish home. It has four acres of wildflower meadow with olive trees, walnuts and oaks. The gravelled, walled courtyard is flanked by huge double barn, stone bakery and farm buildings. The three traditional covered and open terraces facing south, east and west are all suitable for al fresco dining. Superbly situated between the Dordogne and Lot Valleys with their châteaux, water pursuits, delightful golden-stone villages, prehistoric cave dwellings, marked hiking trails and wildlife. Within 8 minutes' drive of Cazals, a pretty Bastide market town with shops, supermarket, excellent restaurants, tennis and swimming and fishing lake.Ipod docking station is available.

    “Normaal zouden we 5 huisjes geven, maar een groot minpunt, er was geen Wifi- dus geen toegang tot internet wat vooral voor het opzoeken van informatie over de bezoekmogelijkheden in de buurt een groot probleem was. Volgens de ons toegestuurde info zou er Wifi aanwezig zijn en daar hadden we op gerekend. De ontvanger stond er wel maar werkte niet.

    Het zwembad is zeer goed onderhouden! We misten ook een mixer en een koffiezet.”

    “Een prachtig mooi gerestaureerd pand met authentieke details en toch een lichte moderne inrichting. Dat spreekt ons aan. Mooie, rustige omgeving, lekker Frans. Genoeg ruimte zowel binnen als buiten het huis om met familie/groep je vakantie door te brengen.

    Ligt wel afgelegen. Voor boodschappen te doen een half uur met de auto, over kronkelende (wel mooie) binnenwegen. Ook voor andere bezienswaardigheden moet men minstens een half uur tot een uur rijden, maar er is genoeg te bezoeken.”
