These characteristic apartments (ISS807 and ISS808) are located in one of the most evocative part of the historical centre of Scicli, a pearl of Sicilian Baroque, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. ISS807 is spread out over two floors and has three beautiful panoramic terraces placed on three different levels. Larger groups can book this apartment together with ISS808, reaching a maximum capacity of 8 +2 beds. The two apartments can be connected through the terraces. The apartment ISS808 spreads out over the second floor and has an equipped terrace from which, via a spiral staircase, a second terrace with a splendid view of the city with the facade of the church of St. Bartholomew in the foreground can be reached. Distances: only 50 m from grocery stores, all kinds of shops within 500 meters. The nearest beach (Donnalucata) is about 9 km and just a few minutes drive away. Many beaches in the surrounding area, such as Plaia Grande and Sampieri, are easily reached in 10-15 minutes drive. From Scicli you can visit the most important Baroque towns of Ragusa area, such as Modica 10 km, Ragusa Ibla 22 km and Noto 42 km. Siracusa and the natural oasis of Vendicari, with its crystal clear beaches, are 60 km away.

    “Die Wohnung entspricht genau der Beschreibung, liegt sehr schön vor einer Barockkirche in einer ruhigen Straße mit ausreichend vielen Parkplätzen davor. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, die gesammte Einrichtung stilvoll und vor allem sehr hochwertig renoviert. In dem anmutigen Gebäudekomplex wohnt die ganze Familie und der Vermieter ist immer freundlich und hilfsbereit.

    ABER: Achtung!
    Die Wohnung ist an den Berg gebaut und Feuchtigkeit zieht ins Mauerwerk. Als erste Mieter war es sehr feucht, bis es nach einer Woche besser wurde.
    Die Reinigungskosten von 70,- € erschienen uns viel zu hoch, doch sie waren von Atraveo ja schon in den Preis eingerechnet. Erst vor Ort haben wir erfahren, dass für Elektrizität 5,- € und für Gas 7,-€ pro Tag (!!) zusätzlich und pauschal zahlen mussten, obwohl bei Atraveo eine Abrechnung nach Verbrauch angegeben war. Der Vermieter hat dann zuerst gesagt, dass Gas und Strom doch inklusive seien, und kam dann erst am letzten Tag mit seiner Rechnung. Im Sommer kommen dann noch 10,-€ pro Tag (!!) ür die Klimaanlage dazu.

    Daher fühlten wir uns ernsthaft betrogen!!

    “This is a fantastic apartment, well furnished. It is best for four but will accommodate 6 if needed. The kitchen is well equipped. The two verandas are great especially for watching people of the town come and go. The owner is very helpful and kind even treating us to a granita breakfast and gifting a bottle of wine to us on our last day. We will be recommending it to all our friends who might want to have a good base to explore Baroque Sicily. The location of the apartment provides a rich mix of a place to relax and a places to explore.”
