Wooden house with a modern interior, on a sunny south-facing slope, with a view into the distance
This wooden house built in 2002 is on a 550m² site, on a sunny south-facing slope, on the outskirts of Seesen. It is a few minutes from the motorway. Practically all the rooms afford an extensive view of Seesen and the Harz region.
The house provides 124m² of generous living space for six adults and two small children. The ground floor comprises a shower room, a living room with a dining corner, a kitchen with a new (November 2015) and modern built-in kitchen, a bedroom, a storage room with a washing machine, and a sun terrace. The upper floor has two bedrooms, a bathroom with a WC, a bath and a shower, as well as a balcony. The first bedroom on the upper floor is furnished with a double bed (ca. 185 x 205cm), the second bedroom on the upper floor with a double bed (ca. 185 x 205cm), a pine sofa bed (ca. 90 x 200cm) and a bed for a toddler. The little room on the ground floor has a pine sofa bed (ca. 90 x 200cm), an armchair bed and a bed for a toddler.
The house features a large, enclosed terrace made of wood, where children or pets can play. The house and terrace are framed by a garden, which allows only limited views in. The upper floor also has a balcony, so you can sleep in the two bedrooms with the balcony door open. The driveway has parking space for a car, or two small cars, and there is a car port for one car and further parking spaces by the roadside.
The house used by the owner until the beginning of 2013 was set up as a holiday home in May 2013. All the furniture was renewed as part of the redesign. The accommodation was first let out in June 2013. In 2016 the house received a new fitted kitchen. In May 2017 the house received a new exterior paint.
There are many recreational facilities in the area. 1000 metres away there are large thermal baths with an outdoor pool, a sauna landscape, a sun deck, a sandy beach and mini golf, as well as a leisure centre with a bowling alley. The town centre of Seesen with restaurants, ice cream shops, cafés etc. is about 2km away. The Municipal Museum and the Kurpark are 3-4km away. A recommended trip destination is the Innerste valley dam where you can go swimming, sailing, on pedalos etc., about 12km away. In Bad Grund (12km) you can visit a limestone cave, the Clock Museum, the Hübichenstein and the Arboretum.
