This two-room apartment is in a holiday village in Kummersdorf near Arrach. It is on the ground floor of a house with two other holiday apartments. The house is the second to last house on a cul-de-sac, without through traffic.
The spacious living room, with a view of Kaitersberg massif, provides a corner, a radio, satellite TV (HD), a dining space with a display cabinet, and a free telephone connection within Germany, as well as wireless Internet access. The cooking niche has a sink, a two-ring hob, microwave, fridge without a freezer compartment and a coffee machine. The bedroom has a wardrobe, a double bed (180 x 200cm) with an additional raised bed (80 x 180cm). The bathroom comprises a washbasin, toilet and shower. The apartment has its own gas heating with radiators in the living room, bedroom and bathroom. Heating costs are included in the rental price.
In front of the apartment there is the south-facing terrace, as well as a shared garden around the house. The complex also provides public playgrounds and parking spaces right in front of the house.
A bread rolls delivery service is available from the baker in Simpering, who can deliver daily right to the doorstep, except on Sundays and national holidays.
The holiday village itself has a restaurant right by the lake, with a terrace and two bowling alleys, around 500 metres away. You can do shoppingin Arrach, Hohenwarth or Bad Kötzting, from 3km away. The holiday village has a swimming lake, a table tennis table and a beach volleyball court. You can also go swimming in Arrach, Lam, Arnbruck and Bad Kötzing. Leisure facilities in the area include the climbing park in Lam, the leisure centre in Hohenbogen, the leisure centre in Bodenmais, the Churpfalzpark in Loifling and the minigolf course in Hohenwarth and Bad Kötzting. There are also the Bayerwald Animal park in Lohberg, the bird of prey park in Grafenwiesen, the zoo in Straubing, the Drexler spirits distillery in Arrach, the Weinfurtner glass village in Arnbruck, the Dragon Museum and the cliff walkways in Furth im Wald, and a riding stables just above the holiday village, where you can take riding lessons. There are also about 95km of hiking trails for extended tours, the wild garden with an underwater observation point in Furth im Wald, the treetop trail in Maibrunn near St. Englmar, and the Bavarian Forest National Park. For winter sport enthusiasts, there are the Hohenbogen ski resort (ca. 9km), the Eck ski resort (ca. 11km) and the Großer Arber ski resort (ca. 25km). The network of cross-country skiing trails in the whole Lamer Winkel area spans 120km.
