Holiday Apartment in Hernals with Garden

This pretty city apartment on the second floor of a Gründerzeit house from the turn of the 20th century is in a central location, close to the city centre.

The apartment is suitable for four people. It is possible to add a supplementary bed for a child.

The 65m² apartment consists of two rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and WC. The kitchen is in the entrance area, with the little shower room with a washing machine leading off it. One room has a raised bed 160cm wide, with a view of the garden. In front of the window there is also a dining space and there is a cosy reading corner under the raised bed. There are two armchairs and seating in the bay window. This room also has a TV. The rooms can be used in different ways, as living, dining and sleeping rooms.

It is just eight direct tram stops to the city centre, about 20 minutes, and it is just as quick in the opposite direction on the same line to get to the Wienerwald. There are many good traditional inns and restaurants in the area, with well-priced food. On the street right next door there is a Heiner café and cake shop and there is a quality Italian icecream salon. There is a supermarket opposite and a pharmacy on the corner. The hosts are happy to provide information about art and culture.

    “Verkehrsgünstig gelegen (im besten und im schlechtesten Sinne), aber sehr schön eingerichtet und mit allem, was man so braucht für ein paar Tage. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Mit 4 Leuten wäre es mir vielleicht ein bisschen eng, zu zweit mit meiner Tochter war es super.”

    “Durchaus charmantes Ambiente, viel Platz, originelle Einrichtung, gemütliche Schlafgalerie, vieles vorhanden, was man bei einer Ferienwohnung nicht erwartet. Aber: Sessel schadhaft, Küchenutensilien könnten mal ersetzt, bzw. vervollständigt werden ( z.B. zerkratzte Bratpfannen…)”

    “Die Unterkunft lag nicht ganz zentral, die Innenstadt und Museen waren aber mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln wunderbar schnell zu erreichen.
    Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Moderne Küche, schönes Bad und superschöne alte Doppelfenster, der Erker ist sehr gemütlich. Wer auf Altbauwohnungen steht ist hier bestens aufgehoben, hohe Wände, gute Atmosphäre.”
