This cosy holiday home is located on a closed street with a path leading to a child-friendly beach. Vemmingbund is an ancient fishing village at the end of Dybbol Bay, between Broager and Sonderborg. This area is very pleasant and well known. Sonderborg, a town full of charm and comfort is located nearby. Take a walk along the pedestrian zone, relax in the cafe in the harbour or visit one of the several exciting museums in the region. A trip to the Palace of Gravenstein is recommended. Do take a stroll in the wonderful palace garden.

    “Die Lage des Holzhauses ist eigentlich optimal. Wenige Gehminuten biszum Naturstrand, großes Grundstück mit Wiese und uwei großen Trauerweiden. Sehr ruhige Lage.
    Das Haus an sich ist eher einfach gebaut und hier und da sieht man ihm das Alter an. Aber ist alles da, was man braucht, inkl. schnellem Internet und gummiweichen Betten.
    Manche Sachen sollten ausgetauscht, bzw. repariert werden, wie der windschiefe, schlecht montierte Sonnenschirm, der beim kleinsten Windhauch umfällt, der Boden der hinteren Holzterasse, sowie das Kinderspielhaus im Garten, das kurz vor dem Zerfall steht.
    Am Strand gibt es eine kleine Schnellimiss-Gaststätte. Das wars auch schon. Der weite naturbelassene Strand bietet viehl Platz zum Schwimmen un Sonnen. Tourismus ist hier nicht sehr ausgeprägt, was uns persönlich sehr entgegen kam.”
