    “Beckerwitz ist ein kleiner, ruhiger Ort, für Erholungssuchende sehr gut geeignet. Was leider weniger gut ist, ist dass es so gut wie keine Einkaufsmöglichkeit gibt und die Gastronomie im Ort selber, es gibt ein kleines Restaurant mit einer überschaubaren Speisekarte, nicht sehr gut ist. Beckerwitz ist ein sehr sauberes und ordentliches Örtchen, daß unserer Kenntnis nach keine besonderen Sehenswürdigkeiten hat. Dafür kann man aber mit dem Fahrrad ohne Probleme auf teilweise sehr schönen Wegen zum Ostseestrand radeln. Hierbei handelt es sich größtenteils um einen Naturstrand mit wunderbaren lauschigen Buchten, und das Ganze ist nicht überlaufen. In Richtung Wohlenberg, wo es dann Sanstrände gibt, wird allerdings tagsüber eine Strandgebühr erhoben. Insgesamt gesehen ist aber das Preisniveau in Beckerwitz und Umgebung auf einem normalen, nicht zu hohen Niveau.”
