This is how holiday rental owners described Berlin-Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg
Berlin - this is vibrant city life, events, clubs, bars and lots of original offers. The trendy center of the nightlife is Berlin-Friedrichshain.
Between Warschauer Strasse and Ostkreuz, the Berlin scene has gathered in the past few years as hardly anywhere else before. In the Simon-Dach-Straße there is a pub ...
show more at the pub, almost everywhere music and entertainment is announced, and on Boxhagener Platz every weekend the coolest flea market of the metropolis.
With an average age of about 35 years, Friedrichshain is the youngest part of Berlin.
Of course, there are also quiet locations like our apartment. From here, it is only a few steps around the corner into the urban culture.
Whether as an alternative or mainstream - Friedrichshain has something to offer for everyone. In the Mercedes Benz Arena at the Warsaw Bridge, fulminant shows will be celebrated, from Lady Gag to David Garrett. The state-of-the-art multifunctional building is at the same time the home of Albatros (basketball) and polar bears (DEL record champion) Berlin. Opposite is the legendary Eastside Gallery, the last piece of the Berlin Wall with paintings by artists from all over the world. Companies like MTV, Universal Music and Coca Cola have their headquarters in the former East Harbor. Old industrial buildings are reviving as an Astra cultural center, FUTURE, or Nuke Club.
There are also three, four S-Bahn stations to the famous sights of the German capital in the Mitte district.
As a central district Friedrichshain has a perfect transport connection with S-Bahn, subway, bus and train. The district is directly on the S-Bahn line 9, which leads from the airport Schönefeld to Pankow. In less than 20 minutes you get from the airport to Alexanderplatz.
