    “Zwei größere Herbergen im Dorf scheinen ein angegliedertes Restaurant zu haben, wir sind nur daran vorbeigelaufen und haben uns im benachbarten Manderscheid (15 Minuten per Auto) mit Lebensmittel eingedeckt und dort Essen vorbestellt, abgeholt und in unserem Ferienhaus gegessen. Als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen ist Deudesfeld sehr gut geeignet, der Aussichtturm mit toller Aussicht über das Maar und die Vulkaneifel ist nicht weit entfernt. Prägnante Orte sind gut ausgeschildert und die Landschaft definitiv einen Besucht wert. Es fehlt m.E. allerdings an Bänken und Tischen an den Wanderwegen zum Rasten, insb. wenn man - wie wir - die Wanderung mit einer Wein- und Delikatessenverkostung kombiniert.”

    “Sehr eingeschränkte Einkaufsmöglöichkeit im Ort da nur stundenweise geöffnet. Bei 15 Brötchen für 8 Personen war der örtliche Edeka schon "leer". Zu dieser Jahreszeit ist man scheinbar auch im Hotel/Restauramt zur Post nicht auf mehr als 2 Personen eingerichtet. Der Koch war um 19:00 Uhr leider bereits nicht mehr da. In der Pension "zur Quelle" welche von 2 sehr netten Gastleuten betrieben wird, wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen. HIOer gab es zwar lediglich TK Kost, aber dafür waren die Wirtsleute super nett und freundlich.

    Zum Essen würden wir definitiv lieber nach Daun oder ;anderscheid fahren. Dort befinden sich auch die üblichen Lebensmittelgeschäfte wie Edeka, Penny, Norma usw.”

    “In Deudesfeld selbst gibt es nicht viel zu sehen. Es ist ein ruhiger Ort wo man auf jeden Fall Frische Brötchen, und Wurst keine 200 m entfernt bekommt. Die nächstgrößeren Ortschaften mit Sehenswürdigkeiten sind nicht weit entfernt. Zum Wandern ist es optimal.”
