    “Einkausmöglichkeiten gibt es in den umliegenden Orten. Der Badestrand ist sauber und es gibt dort ein kleines Restaurant, Strandkörbe, Duschen und Sandkisten. Die (Fahrrad-) Wege auf dem Deich laden u langen, erholsamen Touren ein. Schafe befinden sich auf den Deichen, aber nicht am Badestrand.
    Empfehlenswert: Eidersperrwerk, Leuchtturm Westerever, Westküstenpark (Tierpark) und der große Sandstrand in Sankt Peter Ording.”

    “Ein kleiner Ort ohne Infrastruktur. Das weiß man vorher. Dafür extrem ruhig. Mit dem Auto kann man sich jedoch in Minuten, mit allem was man zum täglichen Leben braucht, versorgen. Gastronomie und Handel sind nicht weit weg. Am Deich gibt es einen empfehlenswerten(s) Imbiss/Restaurant. Tolle Möglichkeiten zum Rad fahren, wandern/spazierengehen/walken. Wasser/Watt 15 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. In 15-30 Minuten erreicht man mit dem Auto St-Peter-Ording, Husum oder Büsum mit reichlich kulturellen- Sport- und Freizeit-Angeboten. Auch unsere Hündin Bella war äußerst angetan und hat die Katzen in der Umgebung ignoriert.”

    “Wer auf lange Fußmärsche steht, kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten. Für alles andere braucht man hier ein Auto bzw. Fahrrad. Im Ort selber gibt es nicht einmal einen Bäcker, geschweige denn Restaurants oä. Auch der Badestrand hinter dem Deich war, anders als bei der Beschreibung angegeben, nicht fußläufig zu erreichen.”
