This cosy holiday house with a garden and a little pool stands on an enclosed site and is a little outside of the holiday village Moraitika on the south-east coast of Corfu. It is ideal for a quiet seaside and cultural holiday for couples, with family or friends. Cosy holiday house for 2 to a maximum of 4 people, with a garden and a little home swimming pool, with the beach and locality within walking distance, in a very beautiful central location with fishing possibilities
The 70m² house was renovated in 2014 and is suitable for a maximum of four people. It has a spacious living room with an adjoining kitchen-diner, two bedrooms and a bathroom. The living room provides a comfortable suite with two sofas and an armchair, as well as satellite TV and a DVD player. Next to it there is the oval dining table with four/six chairs and a kitchen unit behind it, which is fully-equipped with a stove, oven, coffee machine, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. The modern bathroom is fitted with a shower, WC, hairdryer and washbasin and the two bedrooms are each furnished with two single beds 100cm wide. Satellite TV, air conditioning, a washing machine and free wireless Internet access are provided. All the windows are fitted with mosquito nets. The air conditioning unit is in the living room, but is powerful enough to cool the two bedrooms as well. The Internet works both in the house and outdoors.
The terrace door in the living room opens out onto a balcony with a wicker seating group. The garden is ideal for relaxing. There is a roofed grill area with a stone table and next to it a little home swimming pool, for cooling off on hot days. You can park your car in the carport. Each house has a garden area, while the grill area is for shared use.
Children and pets are welcome. Note that the owners have a dog and a cat, but both are friendly and fond of children. The Greeks are hospitable and so, depending on the season, you are supplied with vegetables from the private garden or fresh eggs from their hens. The owners would be happy to help with booking cars, scooters or local trips.
The site directly borders the Messonghi River, where you can fish, and on the shore there is a roofed grill area with garden furniture. It is an ideal location, as you can walk t the nearest beach, as well as to Moraitika with all kinds of shops, restaurants, bars, tavernas and a bus and taxi station, and it is only 8km to the kilometre-long sandy beaches on the south-west side of the island. It is about 500 metres to the village beach, about a 10-minute walk. It is about 20 km to Corfu town.
