Close to the capital of Cassoulet and 30 minutes from Carcassonne and Toulouse, Château Béthanie stands proudly at the entrance to the village, amidst the sunny plains of the Lauragais. Superb views from the panoramic terrace. Baroque period (1850), you will discover a majestic staircase, a coloured glass roof, a living room with imposing fireplace and a library with books on the sites of the Cathar country. House dedicated to perfumes, 5 rooms decorated in the atmosphere of the most famous of them. Enjoy a moment of relaxation by the heated swimming pool (open from 27 May to 30 September) lined with rosemary and oleander, lying on comfortable sun beds with a cool drink. The northern terrace overlooks vast plains of sunflowers, wheat and rape and it is a treat to see these colourful expanses stretching to the foot of the Black Mountain where you can watch a fabulous sunset at cocktail time. On the south side, you will find the swimming pool with its large solarium and a nice shaded area for a quiet siesta. Terrace and shady garden nearby. On the ground floor, two dining rooms, a living room, a superb kitchen professionally equipped with everything you need: cold room, freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, mixer and of course, a cooking piano with 7 gas burners and 4 electric ovens, a separate toilet. On the first floor, a large suite with two bedrooms with a double bed and three single beds and a private bathroom (Italian shower, WC), a second suite with a bedroom with a double bed and a small alcove where there is a single bed, adjoining bathroom with Italian shower and WC, terrace. On the second floor, a family suite for 4 persons composed of two communicating rooms with a 180cm bed and two 90cm x 200cm beds, it has a bathroom (shower, toilet). A bedroom with a 180 x 200 bed and a 90x200 bed for a child with its own bathroom with bath, wc and a last bedroom with a 180 bed and a 90 bed for a child and its own bathroom with Italian shower and wc. WIFI throughout the gîte. A plancha-barbecue is at your disposal. Private parking on the property. Heated swimming pool. Baby equipment. Sheets and towels included. Cleaning package is compulsory and must be paid for on site (200€ for short stays, 300€ for stays of more than 3 nights).
