Farming has become agro-tourism: with the year-round holiday resort Es Gallicant on a 40,000 m² estate, the family has broken new ground and now offers its rural guests seven flats of different sizes. Reception is staffed around the clock and a hearty breakfast is served in the small tree house restaurant. Where you can still watch cows grazing, slowing down is part of the holiday package; nevertheless, both adults and children should have the opportunity to do as they please. The communal facilities resemble those of a well-kept leisure park. They include curved paths, sculptures, evergreen artificial grass and imaginative fountains: The cactus garden leads to the centrepiece of the property, the slightly elevated pool with its sun loungers. On the small island, you can relax in the whirlpool and watch the other guests swimming around you. And if you missed the bubble bath, you can try your luck in the spa in the fitness room, which offers a bike, treadmill and weights station as well as additional massage jets and a view of the palm groves. Es Gallicant Cinco: a corner flat with a sunny covered terrace and views over the plain. You live in a rustically furnished little house with a living space of approx. 42 m². There are private wicker chairs and tables in the open air for your private use on the terrace at the entrance; the loungers are for your exclusive use. Your air-conditioned self-catering realm will also delight dust allergy sufferers - the stone walls and tiled floors provide a pleasant feeling of coolness in summer. The living area with integrated kitchenette (equipped with fridge, ceramic hob, microwave and dishwasher, among other things) is connected to the bedroom and the en-suite bathroom with shower.

Sun and sea, salt and wine, lagoons and beaches characterise the southern tip of Mallorca. Whether you want to hike through the wild Parc Natural de Mondragó, take a tour through the colourful Salinas de Levante, go on a boat trip to the goat island of Cabrera, stroll through the noble town of Santanyí or test some of the most beautiful beaches on Mallorca, from Cala Pí to Es Trenc or Platja de Sa Rápita in this region you will certainly not be bored. By car you can quickly reach the main road, which can be audible from time to time depending on the wind direction. However, you won't have to wait long for tasty treats, as the weekly markets in the area are not the only ones worth visiting. In the charming little town of Campos you will find traditional delicacies, Es Gallicant itself supplies wine and olive oil for the flat kitchen, restaurants serve freshly caught fish along the harbour promenade of Colònia de Sant Jordi and an espresso in the historic Café Colón has long been an essential part of the programme. Once a traditional family villa, today a well-kept and still operating agritourism estate between vines and olive trees: seven rustic apartment buildings share the diverse communal areas and the sweeping views over the fertile plain. Between Campos (6 km) and Santanyí (11 km), both of which offer a wide selection of shops and restaurants, rural tranquillity awaits you. The natural beach Es Trenc is only about 15 minutes away by car. And the MA-19 will take you to Palma for sightseeing in just 40 minutes.
